April 14, 2004—Juxtaform Space Articulators, a modular system for defining interior environments in new ways using stretched fabric panels, made its recent emergence into the Interior Design marketplace.
The new company and its product line were launched by parent company, G. H. Bruce LLC, Arizona-based designers of custom tensile structures, to give interior designers and architects a cost-effective opportunity to use tensioned fabric in interiors spaces for both functional and aesthetic purposes.
Made of flame resistant, stretch polyester, Juxtaform Space Articulators are available in 58 shapes and a variety of sizes and colors. Used individually or in combination, the fabric shapes are stretched and connected at strategic points to walls, ceilings and floors. In the hands of designers and architects, the fabric shapes may be creatively configured to divide space, enhance or de-emphasize an area, buffer sound, provide a visual interlude within a large expanse, or create alternative ceilings and walls.
“Juxtaform Space Articulators enable designers to create unique solutions to interior challenges and achieve a custom look using standard components,” says Geoffrey Bruce, president and principal designer of G. H. Bruce LLC. “Multiple Space Articulators can be overlapped, intertwined, mirrored or coordinated with lighting to produce dramatic sculptural statements.”
Juxtaform Space Articulators are installed with minimal, off-the-shelf hardware. They are machine washable and can be reconfigured, if desired, to meet new and changing needs.
The wide variety of applications for Space Articulators includes office interiors, signature corporate spaces, studios and galleries, upscale retail environments, cultural facilities, and common areas of public buildings. The versatility and mobility of Juxtaform Space Articulators make them ideal for creating exhibits and event modules as well.
