TESA Entry Systems acquires Senercomm for hospitality industry energy management

January 14, 2001—TESA Entry Systems, Inc., has acquired Senercomm to expand TESA ESI’s product line of electronic solutions for the hospitality industry. Headquartered in Florida, Senercomm supplies guestroom energy management technology such as “set-back thermostats” and wireless links to door locks, mini-bars, door switches, safes, etc. Senercomm has also developed passive infrared (PIR) occupancy-sensing Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems technology. Senercomm’s customer base includes Hilton Hotels, Candlewood Hotels, Four Seasons Resorts, Loews-Universal Studios, and others.
