June 21, 2006—KI’s healthcare display during NeoCon centered on the Soltice collection, with a variety of pieces such as an armless sleeper, patient chairs, bariatric seating, a recliner, and a swivel glider.
The collection, designed by Dan Cramer and Paul James, received a Silver Award in The Best of NeoCon competition for 2006.
Soltice was designed to meet the needs of acute care facilities, moving toward a more residential esthetic, which provides a relaxing setting in to provide care. Soltice is the broadest KI healthcare collection ever developed, says the company, with elements ranging from a loveseat to a lounge sleeper, recliners, and multiple seating.
Soltice is available in three sizes, each designed to be functionally and esthetically appropriate for different spaces such as private rooms, waiting areas, and signature lobbies.
