November 5, 2004—The Water Conservation Technology Alliance (WCTA), a coalition of suppliers and technology innovators advocating water conservation technologies, announced the launch of its Nature Calls campaign. The campaign, aimed at building industry professionals, construction engineers, architects and facilities managers, seeks to increase awareness for and drive usage of water conservation technologies globally.
The Nature Calls campaign is dedicated to high-level knowledge exchange, thought leadership and personal relationship building among building professionals in the global economy. It is a leading resource for information on water conservation processes, technologies and products such as waterfree urinals, water efficient toilets and rainwater harvesting equipment.
Featuring an educational e-newsletter and a companion Web site, Nature Calls delivers facts, tips and tools for water conservation. Nature Calls features: “Facts You Can Use,” statistics on the scarcity of fresh water around the globe; “News & Views,” intelligence and news about the state of water; and “Tradeshows and Events,” an extensive listing of shows and conferences of interest to building professionals. In addition, Nature Calls presents the H2O Award each month to a socially responsible organization that has implemented an innovative and successful installation that furthers water conservation.
