The Watt Stopper introduces telephone module for remote lighting control

September 17, 2001—The Watt Stopper has released its new Telephone Control Module (HTELSS), an optional component for The Watt Stopper’s Smartwired Control lighting control panels. With the HTELSS, users can control lighting via touch-tone phone from any location.

Whether calling the designated HTELSS number onsite or remotely, users receive easy-to-follow voice prompts that guide the caller to control lighting ON, OFF, or OVERRIDE. Users may also adjust module settings, such as optional pass codes for added security or the number of rings to access the system more quickly. Capable of controlling any relay or channel in a Smartwired Control system, HTELSS is also a convenient tool for after-hours overrides of lighting control, or for performing automated load shedding.
