December 12, 2005—The list of the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Seal of Approval carpet cleaning solutions has grown to 36 with the addition of three new certified products that have passed the stringent testing protocol, says the organization.
Shaw Industries’ R2Xtra spot remover and pre-spray, Chemspec’s Killer Odor Plus spot remover and pre- spray, and Future Floor Technologies’ Longevity Low Moisture Cleaner pre-spray each were certified by an independent testing lab. The products were tested for efficacy, resoiling, pH, optical brighteners, and colorfastness to light.
