February 28, 2007—The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has released its quarterly list, finalized January 8, 2007, of its Top 10 Federal Partners. These federal agencies represent the largest completed annual green power purchases of all federal government agencies in EPA’s Green Power Partnership.
The combined green power purchases of these federal agencies amount to more than 1.2 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually, which is the equivalent electricity needed to the power more than 100,000 average American homes each year, according to EPA.

- US Air Force (457,500,000; 4%)
- US Environmental Protection Agency (329,880,185; 100%)
- US Department of Energy (165,063,000; 3%)
- US Department of Veterans Affairs (90,000,000; 3%)
- US General Services Administration / Region 2 (78,930,000; 34%)
- US Army/Fort Lewis (41,891,000; 18%)
- US Army/Fort Carson (40,000,000; 29%)
- US Mint/Philadelphia (7,874,000; 31%)
- US Internal Revenue Service (7,000,000; 3%)
- NASA/ Johnson Space Center (6,000,000: 3%).
