Two new FM:Systems releases give access to facilities information organization-wide

July 25, 2003—FM:Systems, Inc., introduces FM:Space and FM:Interact 6.1 to provide access to facilities information throughout the organization.

FM:Space 6.1 provides organizations with the comprehensive tools needed for Space Management, Strategic Planning, Lease and Property Management, and Asset Management in a cost-effective pricing structure. Significant new features include: Support for AutoCAD 2004; enhanced CAD configuration settings; track and display shared spaces by department graphically in AutoCAD; improved administrator capabilities.

FM:Interact 6.1 delivers improved functionality in the product interface as well as added features in the FM: Interact Move Manager and Facilities Maintenance modules. Users can view floor plans, run live reports, submit and edit work requests, and plan moves from the corporate Intranet. New features in FM:Interact 6.1, further explains the company noted for developing FM computer applications, allows organizations to: support for Netscape 6; enhanced .DWF crosshatching functionality; link important documents to move or work orders; move posting capabilities; planners can lock a move from editing prior to the move date; archive closed work orders on-line.

FM:Interact provides organizations with innovative Web-based software tools to manage their facilities across multiple locations. FM:Interact Facilities Maintenance and Move Management modules deliver improved efficiencies through the entire facilities organization with its Web-based functionality. The organizational Intranet can be used to request, plan, schedule, and implement and maintenance move requests. FM:Interact coordinates the efforts of facilities, technology and telecom groups, and departmental move coordinators while providing facility managers the tools necessary to manage facilities effectively and save on costs.
