UKs Society of Light and Lighting publishes new guide on emergency lighting

January 31, 2005—The publication gives advice on the design of emergency escape lighting for all users of buildings and associated areas. It also covers relevant regulations, standards and requirements and gives guidance on the selection, installation, operation and maintenance of suitable lighting equipment and materials.

The guide is intended for facilities managers, specifiers, designers, equipment suppliers, installers and enforcing authorities.

The book is available from the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.
