Small businesses in the UK may receive up to 2,300 to recruit long-term unemployed people from disadvantaged communities, following an effort by the UK government to assist in recruitment and employment needs.
The program, Recruit, is part of a new set of employment measures designed to provide increased support to individual job seekers and disadvantaged communities. The program aims to match training to employment needs and will be developed by Regional Development Agencies along with local partners, including employers.
