Nortek, Inc., a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of air conditioning equipment, has acquired the business and assets of Senior Air Systems (SAS), another UK-based producer of HVAC equipment. SAS will become part of Eaton-Williams Group Limited (Eaton-Williams), a Nortek operating company. Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
SAS, which currently manufactures its products under the Moducel and Colman brand names, specializes in sales to the non-residential HVAC markets. Eaton-Williams, a company that was acquired by Nortek in July 2000, designs, manufacturers, installs and services a leading range of custom-made and standard air conditioning and humidification equipment under the Endenaire, Qualitair, Vapac, and Cubit brand names.
According to a company release, the acquisition will increase the pro-forma sales of Eaton-Williams to approximately 50 million pounds sterling, make it the leading UK manufacturer of custom air conditioning products.
