December 26, 2001—UNICCO Service Company, an integrated facilities services outsourcing company, has received the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) award for Boston Affiliate of the Year for companies with over 500 employees.
UNICCO received the Affiliate of the Year award due to its service to the BOMA organization and its longstanding participation in industry events. Five Hundred Boylston Street, owned by Five Hundred Boylston West Venture and managed by Hines, received the BOMA Boston Building of the Year award; and Rowes Wharf Office, owned by Rowes Wharf Associates and managed by Equity Office Properties Management Corporation, received The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) award for buildings from 250,000 to 500,000 square feet.
