UNICCO wins facilities service contract with Patrick Henry College

April 13, 2005—UNICCO Service Company, one of North Americas largest integrated facilities services outsourcing companies, has received a seven-year contract to provide facilities services for Patrick Henry College.

At Patrick Henry College, in Purcellville, VA, students are required to take a paid campus job as a condition of receiving need based financial aid. As a result, UNICCO managers will work with a custodial, operations and maintenance staff made up almost entirely of students.

UNICCO will conduct general and job-specific training on cleaning and maintenance techniques and safety to ensure that the student staff is aware of regulations and industry work standards.

UNICCO will also apply its considerable buying power and equipment expertise to help Patrick Henry College reduce its supply acquisition and equipment maintenance costs. Under the contract, UNICCO is introducing computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) technology to help manage the overall custodial and maintenance management processes.
