August 13, 2001—Due to a decrease in wholesale energy prices, Unitil/Concord Electric Co. and Unitil/Exeter & Hampton Electric Co. have reduced retail electric rates to their customers effective August 1, 2001.
The savings primarily reflect reduced wholesale energy costs, but also incorporate minor changes in state tax policy implemented earlier this year.
