June 24, 2002—The Urbitran Group, an engineering, architecture and planning firm, has created a security services division headquartered in the firm’s New York office. The new division will develop its security offerings to meet the needs of government/public agencies, property developers and owners, real estate and facility management firms, and insurance companies.
Urbitran Security Services Division (USSD) will offer products and professional services designed to enhance and improve the security and safety of public and private facilities and buildings, as well as infrastructure and transportation systems.
As part of this initiative, USSD has a strategic alliance with several independent providers of security services, including Sital International Security and Intelligence Ltd. Some of the services and products that Urbitran will offer include:
