The Dept. of Public Utility Control has granted a license to Utility.com to sell electricity to 1.3 million residential customers in Connecticut. Utility.com is the first independent company to receive an electric supplier license in the state thanks to the deregulated environment. The company will offer customers online billing and customer service. Utility.com provides the same electricity service in California, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania, and is registered to provide service in Arizona, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island.
Utility.com currently supplies electricity service in California, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and is registered to provide service in Arizona, Nevada, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island, to more than 37 million potential electric customers. Utility.com also sells Internet service throughout the continental United States.
