April 20, 2007—VFA, Inc., a leading provider of end-to-end solutions for facilities capital planning and asset management, has joined the Open Standards Consortium for Real Estate (OSCRE) to help promote common software standards for the real estate industry.
Melanie Ziegler, vice president of software development for VFA, will serve as a member of the OSCRE Facilities Management Workgroup, a sub-group focused specifically on building operations and maintenance, safety and security.
OSCRE is a non-profit organization of industry leaders driving development and adoption of e-business standards using the OSCRE Standard, an electronic data exchange model.
