October 11, 2002—Viking Corporation has announced FMGlobal (FM) approval on the TotalPac product line. FMGlobal is a commercial property insurance company with a special focus on risk management. TotalPac is the first fully UL listed and FM-approved integrated fire protection system, says Viking.
TotalPac units are compact and come fully assembled with individual serial numbers, which are kept in a database for easy maintenance and reference for many years. Each system is subjected to water and air pressure tests, and each function and component is tested and certified before shipping. TotalPac is manufactured under ISO-9001 standards.
The following configurations are now FM-approved in 1-1/2″ through 6″:
- Preaction (Single Interlock Electric Release) [BULLET]Preaction (Double Interlock Electric/Pneulectric and Electric/Pneumatic)
- Deluge (Electric Release)
- Dry (4″ & 6″ only)
- Firecycle III (Preaction Single Interlock)
