Wall protection, reimagined

September 14, 2026 – A respected supplier of innovative textiles, known for durability, design diversity, and sustainable practices, C.F. Stinson Brands expanded into wall protection when it acquired Arc-Com, a provider of upholstery and wallcovering, in the summer of 2025. With a commitment to function and style, CF Stinson provides fabrics and finishes that enrich healthcare, office, education, and hospitality environments.

Facility managers know how easily walls and their corners become damaged, especially in heavy equipment and high-traffic areas such as public spaces, corridors and elevator lobbies of healthcare facilities. Surface durability needs a product that is tough and beautiful. To keep walls looking smooth and attractive, Arc-Com offers ENFORCE Wall Protection that is impact, abrasion, scratch, and stain resistant.

Healthcare planners can visit C.F. Stinson & Arc-Com during the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo, New Orleans, October 18-20, at Booth 2119.

Q: What attracts healthcare designers to specify ENFORCE?

Arc-Com: First, it’s aesthetically pleasing, with high-quality finishes that are functional, durable and stain-resistant, creating a more welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This contributes to a positive healing atmosphere.

Available in a wide range of colors and textures, ENFORCE combines decorative appeal with long-lasting performance. Its flexible material allows for smooth corner turns and seamless wall applications. As a cost-effective, eco-conscious alternative to traditional rigid panels, ENFORCE elevates wall protection with superior durability, safety, and design versatility.

Q: What does ENFORCE Wall Protection offer to healthcare and senior living facility managers?

Arc-Com: ENFORCE reduces maintenance costs and disruption of care areas. Unprotected walls in high-traffic areas suffer from scratches, dents, and peeling paint, leading to frequent repairs and redecoration. ENFORCE’s durability and ease of maintenance lower long-term costs and minimize downtime in clinical areas. ENFORCE delivers a flexible, durable, and sustainable solution for high-traffic interiors, installing seamlessly without the need for corner guards or trim strips.

When walls are damaged, they create cracks, peeling paint, and crevices where bacteria and pathogens can harbor and multiply – often making them impossible to sanitize effectively.

Constructed with a heavyweight 33-ounce material, employing evo® PVC-Free technology, ENFORCE provides exceptional resistance to impact, abrasion, scratches, stains, and many chemicals. It’s also bleach cleanable and disinfectant safe.

Q: Why is ENFORCE considered more sustainable than others in the category? How does that connect with the CF Stinson ethos?

Arc-Com: Designed with sustainability at its core, ENFORCE is made from a PVC-Free Olefin Composite with 30% post-industrial recycled content. ENFORCE is printed using water-based

inks, and is entirely phthalate-, PFAS- and heavy metal-free. It complies with Proposition 65, is LBC Red List Free, and supports LEED and Healthier Hospitals standards.

Q: How seamless is the appearance of ENFORCE?

Arc-Com:  For demanding environments, it offers seamless installation and all the patterns can also be installed horizontally for minimal seam exposure. Supplied in 30-yard rolls, 54-in. wide, allowing for seamless, railroaded (horizontal) installations up to 30 yards long.

It’s in the details: No corner guards, top caps, or trim strips due to its flexible material that easily turns inside and outside corners with a heat tool.

Q: FMs want to know: How does ENFORCE stay sanitary?

Arc-Com: Compared to standard vinyl wallcoverings, it is resistant to most cleaning and disinfecting agents, including a 10:1 bleach solution. Periodic washing keeps it fresh. The wallcovering should be washed regularly enough to prevent dirt and grime from accumulating, and to maintain the original beauty. Depending on traffic (light, medium, heavy), the wallcovering surface should be washed one, two, or three times a year. Stains should be removed as quickly as possible to eliminate any possible reaction between the staining agent and the wallcovering.

Q: What are the most common applications?

In healthcare, it’s corridors, patient rooms, and waiting areas that encounter rolling gurneys and carts. And it crosses over to corporate and education settings in classrooms, cafeterias, breakrooms and hallways. And the hospitality market has embraced ENFORCE in hotel corridors and elevator lobbies for its function, durability and aesthetics.
