It leverages the open architecture of the Fortis document management software for seamless connectivity, allowing eCopy ShareScan users with a Canon digital copier or scanner to send scanned documents effortlessly to their Fortis database.
On the front end, eCopy ShareScan can capture and transform full-color or black and white paper documents into electronic images extending the capabilities of a digital copier or scanner. With Fortis for ShareScan, users simply select the “Send to Fortis” button on the eCopy touch panel, and scanned images are passed to Fortis. Once inside the Fortis database, users can store and securely retrieve all their business critical documents in seconds making information decisions based on the latest, comprehensive data.
