WestJet chooses FM:Systems software to help with move to new corporate HQ

January 16, 2009—FM:Systems, a leading provider of integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) and computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software, announced that WestJet, Canada’s leading high-value low-cost airline, selected FM:Interact to enhance its move management processes as the airline moves into a new corporate headquarters.

FM:Interact, a Web-based workplace management suite, enables WestJet to share facilities information and manage processes that impact the entire enterprise.

In a standard Web browser, FM:Interact allows real estate and facilities professionals to collaborate and share workplace information with all employees. With its intuitive interface, companies have quick and easy access to key facilities information such as occupancy, moves, maintenance and more.

After a 12-week implementation process, WestJet plans to go live with FM:Interact on February 1, 2009, in its Calgary headquarters and to roll it out company-wide over the next 24 months.
