November 13, 2006—Whitestone Research Corporation has been awarded a contract by the Department of Defense (DoD) to help improve the measurement of key facility performance metrics required by the real property initiative under the President’s Management Agenda. Executive Order (EO) 13327 sets three requirements for federal agencies with substantial real property assets: development of an asset management plan; development of performance metrics; and development of a comprehensive real property database.
Whitestone will also assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future management of business information to support DoD installations and environment programs.
Whitestone models and metrics are used by a growing number of agencies to define and justify facility funding requirements. Whitestone specializes in federal facilities policy development and applied research. In addition to government agencies, Whitestone products are used by major corporations and public and private institutions.
