May 27, 2002—Wilde Technologies has launched its application assembly platform, Wilde 1.0., a design centric approach to enterprise application construction. Wilde leverages XML Web services, Microsoft .NET and COM components using a model driven approach based on UML.
By adopting Wilde 1.0, architects, designers and developers synchronize the software development lifecycle. Using Wilde 1.0, architects and designers can create, publish, adapt and update diagrams of complex software systems. Developers can then implement from the design and execute the system directly through the design. With the design and the deployed system always in step, this window into the living system makes upgrades.
Wilde 1.0 allows the use of new, pre-existing or 3rd party components, enabling designs to be turned into assets for reuse in other applications. Incorporating a browser for the selection of XML Web services, Microsoft .NET or COM components, designers can drag them onto the model diagram and specify connections.
Wilde 1.0 is available immediately and can be downloaded online. For more information, contact Wilde Technologies.
