October 6, 2003—The TE-7700 Series RF Wireless Room Temperature Sensing System from Johnson Controls is now available for both analog and zone bus interface, making it compatible with a wide range of digital controllers in HVAC applications.
This wireless system reduces installation costs and difficulties associated with installing hardwired systems in facilities with solid or temporary walls, or decorative surfaces. The TE-7700 System is designed for installations where building aesthetics would normally hinder hardwiring, such as surfaces constructed of marble, granite, brick, or concrete.
The system includes the TE-7710 Series RF Wireless Temperature and Set Point Transmitter, and an RF Receiver. Johnson Controls offers two receiver options: the TE-7720-0 RF Receiver for zone bus interface, designed to work with the Johnson Controls VMA1400 Series Controllers; and the TE-7730-0 RF Receiver for 0 to 5 VDC analog interface, which is compatible with Johnson Controls air handling units, unitary controllers, variable air volume controllers, DX9100 multi-purpose controllers, and compatible competitors’ models.
