Workplace Law releases third edition of report on making buildings accessible

July 13, 2005—Workplace Law is issuing a comprehensively revised and updated third edition of its best-selling special report Disability: Making Buildings Accessible.

The substantially revised edition includes the following new chapters: Developing Inclusive, Accessible Environments: Understanding the Need; Planning for Inclusion and Accessibility; The Disability Discrimination Act 2005; and Managing and Maintaining Accessible, Inclusive Environments.

The publication is considered the UKs top guide on access and inclusion, according to Workplace Law. The Special Report includes a foreword by Richard Simmons, Chief Executive, Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment as well as the full text of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (as amended by the Disability Discrimination Act 2005).
