July 9, 2003—Sequiam Corp. recently launched BioVault, a secure safe that utilizes patent-pending technology to recognize a person’s fingerprint as the sole method of unlocking the vault. The safe is expected to be used in many applications, especially gun control. The company has already completed testing of the prototype units and is ready to commence manufacturing.
The BioVault retails for $599 and is currently available for purchase through the company’s Web site.
