May 10, 2004—Coastal Training has produced a new four-part video series on working safely around and with electricity. The program complies with OSHA’s electrical safety standard (1910.331-335) and provides a resource for experienced electrical workers as well as those requiring initial training. A few of the topics covered in this training are housekeeping, de-energizing equipment, maintaining a safe environment, emergency procedures, the National Electric Code and much more.
The four-part series includes Electrical Safety: Basic Principles, Electrical Hazards: Avoid The Risk, Electrical Emergencies: Proper Response, and Electrical Safety: Working Around Live Circuits. Each video comes with 10 employee handbooks and a leader’s guide. All four video training programs are available for preview.
