August 23, 2004—The Institute of Real Estate Management’s (IREM) Journal of Property Management has published a special technology-themed issue to report on the many options available to today’s real estate manager. The Journal, in partnership with RealFoundations, produced the 2004 JPM Software Survey: Accounting and Field Services Management Solutions, a comprehensive guide to property management and financial accounting software. The survey makes it quick and easy to compare the key features of the leading property management programs for those planning to select new or upgrade current software.
Other feature articles in this special issue include: “Data Streams” (collecting and communicating market figures), “Embrace a Digital Lifestyle” (high-tech products and services for tenants) ” Paper Trail” (document management solutions), ” Reach Out and Touch Someone” (electronic marketing options), “Reduced Variables” (leasing automation software), “Meta Magnificent” (call centers), and “Support System” (software service agreements).
The Special Issue, excluding the 2004 JPM Software Survey, can be downloaded from the JPM Online Archives on the IREM Web site. IREM members can access the articles at no cost, but non-members will be charged $4.95 per article.
