December 29, 2004—OPTIMUS Corporation, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, announced that it won two new federal schedule contracts from the General Services Administration (GSA)—one for Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) and the other for Environmental Advisory Services. The MOBIS award will enable OPTIMUS Corporation to provide management consulting, facilitation, survey and program integration/project management services to agencies across the federal government.
Under the GSA Environmental Services Schedule, OPTIMUS will be able to provide remotely delivered advisory services in support of environmental programs. OPTIMUS estimates that anticipated tasking on the two new contracts will generate approximately $2 million in annual revenues for the company.
OBIS streamlines the procurement process for federal agencies to acquire services to implement quality management and other related system change processes. The schedule provides access to a wide range of services including the following major elements of the President’s Quality Award and the Baldridge Award criteria: top management leadership, program integration and project management, strategic planning, measurement and analysis, quality assurance, and quality and productivity improvement results. As an ISO 9001:2001 firm, OPTIMUS looks forward to having this new contract to lend its expertise to government customers engaged in efforts to improve their organizations and operations.
The Environmental Services Schedule provides streamlined access to support services for various environmental related programs. GSA awarded OPTIMUS a schedule contract under section 899-6, Remote Advisory Services, which encompasses remotely delivered advisory services in support of an agency’s environmental programs. Services include but are not limited to: assistance concerning hazardous material spills, poisons, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs), and environmental regulations that may be provided via a variety of means including information hotlines, Web sites, fax or e-mail. The Environmental Services Schedule enables OPTIMUS to offer these technology services to support environmental programs for any federal government agency.
