November 2, 2005—Onelan has launched an improved version of its digital signage appliance, the Net-Top-Box, designed for businesses looking for a simple-to-use, networkable, dynamic display solution. Model NTB113 offers access to built-in Freeview, which provides DVD-like quality video within a display area, plus a wide selection of free-to-air news channels.
Combined with the multi-zone/multi-media facilities of the Net-Top-Box, the NTB113 also provides a simple-to-install image management facility for displaying information in such areas as corporate foyers, canteens, information points, staff notice boards, and sales offices.
This improved appliance seamlessly shows video, DVD, HTML, text, and Flash animations in one dynamic display, networkable across multiple screens.
Based on a Linux operating system, Net-Top-Box has no software to install, and works with any LCD, plasma, or projected display. All control of the Net-Top-Box is via a manager’s desktop Browser.
