Viking to offer CPVC BlazeMaster fire sprinkler pipe, replacing current CPVC pipe

May 8, 2006—Viking SupplyNet, a leader in distribution of fire protection products, announces a new supply strategy for CPVC fire sprinkler pipe. As of mid-June 2006, the company will officially begin distributing BlazeMaster CPVC pipe, and with the change, Viking will completely phase out its current CPVC pipe, says Viking.

According to the company, CPVC can significantly reduce the cost of fire sprinkler systems because of its performance benefits and east of installation. Since the expense of sprinkler systems is often a barrier to installation, products such as CPVC that reduce installed costs are important to the continued growth of the fire sprinkler industry.

BlazeMaster’s commitment to the development of new product technology, new applications, and new listings and approvals will help enable more cost-effective sprinkler system installations. Viking and BlazeMaster’s shared commitment to quality, innovation, and service, as well as their commitment to advancing the fire sprinkler concept, make this partnership a natural fit.

Viking SupplyNet will implement this transition with as little impact as possible on its customers. Viking’s mission is to provide the independent fire sprinkler contractor with the highest quality, best performing products delivered with exceptional customer service and technical support. Bringing BlazeMaster CPVC pipe into the Viking SupplyNet family of products further enhances the company’s ability to deliver on this mission.
