Bentley’s Career Networks program chosen by leading Indian engineering college

May 15, 2006—Bentley Systems, Incorporated has announced that Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, a leading Indian engineering college, has selected the BE (Bentley Empowered) Careers Network program to introduce engineering students to the latest software for improving the world’s infrastructure.

The program will support IIT Kanpur’s efforts to provide its students with the software skills they need to succeed in the field of infrastructure, including architecture, engineering, construction, and operations, says Bentley. Its adoption will give the students practical, hands-on training in the latest commercial computer-aided design and engineering software encompassing the entire lifecyle of building, plant, civil, and geospatial projects.

The mission of BE Careers Network is to help architectural and engineering students graduate with market-ready technology skills. It accomplishes this by providing programs for students, teachers, and schools; free and discounted software, training, and curriculum counseling; and award programs.
