October 4, 2006—The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) has expanded its online offerings to make professional development resources more accessible to its members. The NAED Learning Center (NLC) now contains more than 150 courses tailored to meet the everyday business needs of distributor and manufacturer personnel, from the entry-level employee to upper management.
The online learning curriculum features training in such areas as OSHA procedures, including electrical safety and emergency prevention; manufacturer product training of latest resources from industry manufacturers; audio recordings of NAED teleconferences.
Companies implementing training through the NAED Learning Center gain flexibility and improved processes, says NAED. The Web-based online training creates a convenient learning environment that is self-paced, interactive, and user friendly. NAED is regularly adding new courses to its online curriculum.
To help company leaders and HR managers develop their own online university using the NLC, NAED is now offering a new Webinar resource at no cost to members. The Webinar, offered on multiple dates, will show participants how to track learning activities, create a customized training plan, and use the NLC’s reporting functions. NAED also says it is regularly adding new courses to its online curriculum.
