January 18, 2008—AERCO, a design leader in high-efficiency boilers and water heaters, expands its award-winning Benchmark family with the introduction of the Benchmark 1.5 Low NOx (BMK 1.5LN) condensing, fully modulating boiler. The BMK 1.5LN brings the field-proven design of the Benchmark series, as well as an exceptionally small footprint, to projects requiring 1.5 million BTU/hr.
The BMK 1.5LN boiler employs the same fuel-saving technologies, design principles and key components that have been proven in the field for a decade as part of the AERCO’s Benchmark line. The BMK1.5LN boiler incorporates a stainless steel heat exchanger and the company’s C-More unit controller, along with AERCO’s patented air/fuel delivery system, which enables the boiler to deliver unmatched 20:1 turndown. The result is maximized operating efficiency and seasonal fuel savings.
Designed with an extremely small footprint, the BMK 1.5LN measures only 79″ H x 28″ W x 36″ D and is delivered in a single, fully assembled package that fits through a standard doorway. All key components are accessible from the front of the unit, so that multiple boilers can be installed with zero side clearance. The unit features removable enclosure panels and rear access to all piping and also offers a variety of combustion air and venting options to simplify installation.
