The AXIS V5925 is a versatile, high-quality camera engineered to combine excellent image quality with smooth pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) control including sports mode and stage mode, and studio-grade audio for professional broadcasting and livestreaming. The camera is said to offer excellent HDTV 1080p at 60fps and 30x zoom. The VISCA RS-232-based control system allows for easy integration with existing audiovisual (AV) installations, and VISCA over IP allows for remote control of multiple cameras via a LAN connection.

Additionally, for simple or mobile installations, a three-month Camstreamer trial license is included, which enables livestreaming to platforms such as YouTube and Facebook Live directly from the camera over an internet protocol (IP) network.

Ryan Gregory, director of Solutions and Services, Axis Communications, Inc., commented:

We’re excited to meet the growing demand for live video with a camera that’s packed with all the features a broadcast professional would expect — and more. The AXIS V5925 is powerful and well-designed with features like balanced XLR inputs and 48V phantom power for studio-grade microphones. HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs let users connect to most professional video switchers, and with the VISCA RS-232 control system users can easily integrate the camera into their existing AV system. The V5925 is truly a versatile camera that makes professional broadcast simple.
