February 19, 2007—Nelson Bakewell, the independent property consultancy, has selected The Asset Factor, Helical Bar’s property asset management and outsourcing partner, to create a 50-50 Joint Venture (JV) to provide FM services to its current and future client portfolios.
The initial scope of service of the new venture will embrace over 20 million square feet of commercial space and over 30 shopping centers alongside industrial and residential portfolios, says Nelson Bakewell. Overall, approximately £70m per annum of FM service expenditure will be managed by the new joint venture.
Nelson Bakewell offers property consultancy and services dealing with all aspects of property ownership, management and occupation. Asset Factor, part of the Helical Bar Group, manages property for customers with the goal of reducing total occupation costs.
