The Blue Book of building and construction sets new print record for 2004

December 31, 2003—The Blue Book of Building and Construction is preparing once again to surpass its largest print distribution in the company’s history. Over 730,000 copies will be delivered free of charge to qualified industry buyers across the US. Entering its 91st year in the construction information business, The Blue Book has also announced Arizona as its 23rd regional print edition, scheduled for publication in early January 2005. The online edition of The Arizona Blue Book has been accessible since 2001.

Since 1913, The Blue Book of Building and Construction has provided the “most comprehensive” database of general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers working within the building and construction industry. Online, thebluebook.com features over 1,000,000 searchable company listings, display ads, and 560 “Industry Classifications.” The BB-Bid online bidding and procurement system is available free of charge, and sends an average of over 5,000,000 project messages annually. Registered users also have access to BidScope, The Blue Book’s Targeted Project Lead System, now delivering McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge project leads.
