Two new wall base lines, Millwork and Wall Art by Johnsonite, heighten design options

October 25, 2002—Johnsonite introduces two new wall base collections, Millwork and Wall Art. Millwork is a contoured wall base emulating the look of finely milled wood. The Wall Art line incorporates a variety of patterned design options, including looks of wood, stone, and metal. Both offer the practical benefits of rubber, including wear-resistance, a lower life-cycle cost, and easy installation.

Millwork wall base has a smooth, non-fading surface with no knots or grain to detract from its appearance. Unlike real wood, it will not splinter, chip, or absorb liquids, and it resists stains, dents, and scratches. In a 4-1/2-inch height, it can hide previous base lines. There are over 115 colors and finishes from which to select, including eight new muted palette tones. It is also available in 30 ColorMatch colors that match the entire line of flooring, stairwall components, corner guards, transitions and other finishing solutions. Custom colors can also be specified.

Wall Art features an impregnated pattern, not a laminate, as well as pre-manufactured inside and outside corners. Durable and easier to install than wood, stone or metal, high first costs and upkeep costs are eliminated.

Johnsonite bases were displayed at the October IFMA World Workplace conference in Toronto. For more information contact, Johnsonite.
