June 16, 2003—Wilsonart Commercial Flooring’s new premium commercial flooring line, Contact, features the company’s award-winning Tap-N-Lock glueless installation system. This system allows for a faster and less expensive installation compared to wood or conventional laminate flooring. The new value-priced line is designed specifically to fit the needs of smaller, more mainline commercial installations on a fixed technical improvement budget.
Contact, Wilsonart’s second commercial-grade laminate flooring line, features 16 patterns, including 10 wood-grain planks and 6 tiles. All patterns were specifically designed for commercial environments, and complement patterns developed by Wilsonart’s surfacing group.
Wilsonarts Tap-N-Lock glueless technology installation uses two tongue-and-groove joints for extra strength, a smooth, even-level finish, and ease of installation around doors and tight corners The double tongue-and-groove edges are treated with a hot wax-oil emulsion, which helps eliminate moisture intrusion into the floor.
The high-performance commercial overlay is designed to be wear, stain, and fade resistant, which adds increased durability in high traffic areas. An acoustic attenuation layer decreases noise transmission both above and below floor level. The Greycore inner core combines enhanced strength and moisture resistance for demanding environments.
Availability is scheduled for late summer. Pricing will be announced soon. For more information visit Wilsonart or call 800/710-8846.
