October 2, 2006—The Ashkin Group has launched the Green Cleaning University, a professional development tool and resource about green cleaning and healthy building maintenance.
GCU offers interactive classes with leading industry experts, online discussion groups, conferences, an extensive library, and a bookstore. All of the online courses and materials are available 24/7.
The initial class schedule, focused on maximizing the sale of green cleaning products and services, includes “Prospecting for Green Cleaning Accounts,” “Selling Green Cleaning & the Pilot Process,” “Greening Health Care,” among others.
In the near future, GCU will offer programs on green buildings, the USGBC and its LEED-EB program, sales management, conducting building audits, implementing such cleaning strategies as Day Cleaning and Team Cleaning, and more.
