October 17, 2005—Bora-Care termiticide, insecticide and fungicide concentrate from Nisus Corporation has joined the FGG/BM System Compatible program developed by Noveon, according to Bora-Care. It is the first product in the termiticide/insecticide product category to be included in Noveons stringent compatibility tests, the company says.
The FGG/BM System Compatible Program is designed to test and monitor ancillary products on an ongoing basis to ensure chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold® and Corzan water distribution systems and BlazeMaster fire sprinkler systems.
Bora-Care is used as a stand-alone, full termite treatment for new construction as well as for control of subterranean termites, drywood termites, Formosan termites, carpenter ants, wood destroying beetles and decay fungi. It is specifically listed by the International Building Codes (IBC) as a suitable replacement for soil treatments, the company says.
With the addition of Bora-Care, the FGG/BM®System Compatible program now includes 20 products that are guaranteed safe to use with Noveon CPVC piping systems.
