July 12, 2006—The CAO Group recently released the Dynasty Integrated Power LED, which the company claims is the first of this type of technology to enter the industry. CAO Group uses patented technology to integrate multiple-standard LED chips in a three-dimensional lead frame to create a high-flux LED for solid-state lighting applications.
The Dynasty Integrated Power LED features a higher performance than other power LEDs due to an innovative lead frame design, efficient electrical and optical designs, heat management, and proprietary phosphors, says CAO.
The Dynasty LED offers the following features: 1) A typical 60 lumen/watt with a range from 50-70 lumen/watt performance in production for white, with color temperature range from 5000K to 7000K; 2) 360-degree horizontal and 275-degree vertical Butterfly-Beam; 3) 100% waterproof; 4) Twist-in type for easy LED replacement; 5) No secondary heat sink necessary with standard 320mA/3.5V operation.
