This will enable a larger broadcast of time-sensitive communication to reach all visitors, students, faculty and staff, the companies say.
With a single click of a button, any authorized campus official can conveniently send an urgent message to the campus Web site, to all digital visual displays and alert beacons around campus, and to the mobile phones, email accounts, and RSS readers of the entire campus community.
Endorsed by Security On Campus Inc. and used by schools around the country, e2Campus is the Web- based mass notification system that enables school officials to self-administer and send time-sensitive messages for a fraction of the cost and complexity of existing notification solutions. There is no traditional software to install, no hardware to buy, and no additional phone lines are needed.
This mass notification delivery method is now available for purchase and mplementation, according to Omnilert and Exhibio.
