Elements, Electric City and Utilisource team up for parking structure lighting systems

April 10, 2006—A new agreement between Utilisource Corp., an energy and energy conservation products provider; Element Service, Inc., a full-service heating, air conditioning and energy conservation products company; and Electric City, a leading developer, manufacturer and integrator of energy savings technologies and building automation systems, has enabled the distribution of The EnergySaver, a demand-side energy management tool that reduces energy consumption by 15 to 35 percent in business lighting systems.

The EnergySaver, an upgraded version of an existing product to meet increasing demand for energy conservation technology, is a patented, base load, variable lighting control and power reduction device. It works in both indoor and outdoor commercial, institutional and industrial lighting systems—from parking structures to offices to manufacturing facilities—all while maintaining appropriate lighting levels for the user.

Fully programmable with upgraded computer controls and software to meet the demands of today’s business, it allows facility managers to maximize energy savings by combining load management, market-based pricing, and incentive programs offered by today’s deregulated “open access” energy market, the companies say.
