EPA launches environmental health site in Spanish

November 14, 2005—The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has launched a new Web page in Spanish dedicated to providing information on different environmental issues and their effects among Hispanics residing in the United States.

El medio ambiente y su salud,” or “The Environment and Your Health,” will focus on a different issue every month, beginning this month with asthma.

Future issues will feature other environmental health issues of special concern to Hispanics, such as lead poisoning prevention, radon, carbon monoxide, particulate matter, and mold.
