October 8, 2008—ErgoGenesis LLC, manufacturer of the BodyBilt ergonomic chair, has introduced a new product into its ergonomic seating line. The 2600 Series mesh back chair has distinctive styling and is unusually comfortable, says the company.
Developing the perfect back design was integral in this product development. Once attained, the new back was matched with the contoured BodyBilt seatpan. The design of the mesh back is what makes this chair unique, says Gerald Proctor, BodyBilts chief designer. We have kept all of the ergonomic advantages in this design, and yet have allowed ample room for shoulder and elbow movement that is lacking in so many other mesh back chairs.
The 2600 Series hand-constructed upholstered seat, as with every BodyBilt ergonomic office chair, is made with soy-based BioFoam. The seatpan may be upholstered in virtually any fabric, and BodyBilt offers a full line of green alternatives for the seat.
