Te Hui Taumata a FM Summit Aotearoa 2025 takes place October 9-10, 2025. The Facilities Management Association of New Zealand (FMANZ) promises two days of inspiring presentations and endless networking.
Themed ” Performance/Art Whakairo ā-whare, whakairo ā-ngākau – the crafting of buildings is the crafting of hearts” the summit will recognize that places and spaces are best when they combine art and performance. People thrive in places that not only operate well and efficiently, but that also look amazing. Facilities managers are like carvers of these spaces, shaping environments that, in turn, shape the way people feel, interact, and thrive. A well-crafted place influences creativity, health, productivity and mood. Combining performance and art requires collaboration and craft. This is central to the work of the often unseen custodians of these places – facilities managers.
Ahead of the FM Summit Aotearoa 2025, FMANZ will also offer an exclusive program of exciting building tours on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 8, followed by a special welcome function at the Parliament buildings.
