March 21, 2005—Evolved Systems, Inc. (dba Supply and Service), provider of facility operations technology, announced today that Ericsson has selected its softWrench Web-based work order management system, and MAXIMO, the leading CMMS System.
Supply and Service is partnering with SpacePlan FM to provide complete space and move management systems.
Ericsson is the largest supplier of mobile systems in the world and supports all major standards for wireless communication.
Supply and Service, along with SpacePlan FM, will implement, train and provide continued support while combining all facilities data into one centralized data repository; capturing the property and equipment inventory; validating locations and place into a centrally accessible repository; building a Facilities Intranet site with softWrench; and visually displaying all floor plans, personnel and assets for Web access by authorized users, among other functions.
The solutions chosen (softWrench, eMAC, Aperture and MAXMO) are completely integrated and provide internet access to key information pertaining to the properties management by Ericssons Facilities Department, says Evolved Systems. Additionally, the system organizes and maintains the textual and visual data in a dynamic manner that allows users to make more informed decisions, create operational and budgetary reports, and generally manage the facility portfolio with consistent standard methods.
