May 11, 2007—Fiberstars, Inc., a global leader in commercial fiber optic lighting, has released EFO Illuminator, which requires 80% less electricity than traditional lighting, achieving a total fixture efficiency of 61 lumens per watt—more than four times more efficient than traditional halogen lighting fixtures, says Fiberstars.
To combat current high cost of energy and concerns about global warming, Fiberstars uses 99% recycled or re-used materials for the EFO product line and includes a purchase option to make the light carbon neutral—making it one of the “greenest” lighting sources on the market today.
The new EFO Illuminator was displayed at LightFair tradeshow, May 8-10, 2007, along with other Fiberstars lighting products and fixtures.
