June 13, 2007—Herman Miller, Inc., is making its research and knowledge more accessible and valuable by establishing a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) program online with relevant and free self-studies and a wide-ranging compendium of CEU-accredited presentations.
The CEU Program, launching on June 8, 2007, is located on the company’s Web site.
It is aimed at architects, designers, facility managers, healthcare leaders, educators and students, all of whom can turn to the site for resources and accredited presentations and self-studies, says the company.
All CEU presentations and self-studies are accredited by at least one of the following accrediting organizations: the Interior Design Continuing Education Council (IDCEC), the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), the company says.
The self-studies require passing an electronic diagnostic exercise, while the CEU presentations feature interaction both electronically and face to face.
